These terms govern your use of daycarevacancy.com, operated by [TBD: LEGAL NAME / ENTITY], [TBD: ADDRESS] (“DaycareVacancy,” “we”). By using the site or buying a service, you agree to them. Contact: cs@daycarevacancy.com (email only).

1. What we are

DaycareVacancy is an independent information and enquiry service. We are not a child care provider, employment or placement agency, or government body, and we are not affiliated with Texas HHSC or the Texas Workforce Commission. We don’t inspect, license, rate, endorse or guarantee any provider.

2. Provider information

Listings are based on public Texas HHSC data and on information providers give us. Data may be out of date or incomplete. Licensed capacity is not the same as availability. You are responsible for checking a provider’s state record, touring, and making your own decision.

3. Vacancy Reports (parents)

• Price: $39 per report; a second child in the same search is included; 24-hour rush is +$20. Prices include any applicable fees unless stated.
• Service: within 72 hours of a complete order (24 hours for rush), we email up to 25 licensed providers matching your request on your behalf and send you a written summary of their replies.
• No guarantee of a spot: we report what providers tell us. We don’t guarantee any provider replies, has or holds an opening, or honors quoted prices.
• Refunds: if fewer than 5 providers reply by the delivery deadline, we refund you in full. If we miss the deadline, [TBD: refund / partial refund]. [TBD: Other refund cases] Request by email.
• You agree that we may contact providers using the details in your request.

4. Provider services

• Free profiles are not removed for non-payment.
• Featured “Open spots” is a monthly subscription (founding price $29/month locked for 12 months, then $39/month), billed in advance. Cancel by email at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. [TBD: Refund on cancellation]
• Pay-per-tour requests are billed at the agreed rate per request delivered. [TBD: Dispute process]
• Providers must post only accurate openings and fees, and must hold a valid Texas license, registration or listing.
• Featured placement does not change organic search order, and is always labelled.

5. Calculator

The cost calculator gives estimates only. It is not tax, legal or financial advice. Confirm with the IRS or a tax professional.

6. Acceptable use

Don’t scrape the site, submit false information, or misuse enquiry tools to spam providers or parents.

7. Intellectual property

Site content and design belong to us. Public data remains subject to its source’s terms.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The site is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for decisions you make about child care, for the acts of any provider, or for indirect losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
