What you get

A written report by email, listing each provider we contacted and, for those who replied:

• Whether they say they have an opening for your child’s age and start date, or a waitlist
• Weekly or monthly tuition they quoted
• Registration, supply or waitlist fees
• Whether they accept subsidies (if you asked)
• Tour availability and how to book
• The date and wording of their reply

You also get the list of providers who did not reply, with their state licence details, so you can follow up yourself.

What we need from you

• ZIP code or area, and how far you’ll travel
• Child’s age (or due date) and number of children
• Start date
• Days and hours you need
• Budget per week (optional)
• Whether you’ll use a child care subsidy (optional)
• Your name and email

We do not need your child’s name or date of birth. We don’t share your email with providers unless you ask us to connect you.

How it works

1. You order and fill the form.
2. We match up to 25 licensed providers from Texas HHSC records that fit your area, ages and hours.
3. We email them on your behalf, as DaycareVacancy, asking about openings for a child of your age and start date.
4. Within 72 hours of your order (24 hours for rush), we email your report.

Please read: what we can and can’t promise

• We report what providers tell us. We can’t guarantee any provider has a spot, holds it for you, or keeps the quoted price.
• An opening is only confirmed when you speak with the provider and enroll.
• We aren’t a provider, agency or state body, and we don’t rate providers.
• Always check the provider’s state record and tour before you enroll.

Refund promise

If fewer than 5 providers reply by the time your report is due, we’ll refund you in full, automatically. (Other refund terms: see Terms.)
